I mean Crappy Wi-fi conection Vs. Already kickass multiplayer that made the game famous in the first place. I just don't get it

Actually, we didn't know that it would have an online mode. We knew it was being considered, but it was also stated that they didn't know if it was going to be possible. Considering that many games have come out in the past that should have had wifi support, but didn't, I'd say this is cause for celebration.

Many of us have wanted to play an online smash bros game since before melee, so I'd say this is a big deal. We're going to be able to play this with the friends we have around the planet.

I'm not saying Wi-fi is bad but I'm just not sold. I mean most of us are very spread out and he said something about distance having a negative affect on the wi-fi, I mean I'd jump at the chance to play one of you but I'm worried that the fighting will be slow and that maybe the connection will give out.

On a different game ( Though thats obvious) I have played people in Europe with no difference in game speed from single player. The speed of the internet connection depends more on the connection speed of the players then the distance.
