Well, in the Donkey Kong music update, it said "He [Hirokazu Tanaka] wasn’t included on the list of musicians until now, but he secretly joined the fray!" So, I decided to look at the list of musicians (found in this update), and I found that they added him.

Now, whats interesting about this is what this guy did music for...

Name: Hirokazu Tanaka
Works: Metroid / Dr. Mario

Could this mean that Dr. Mario is in Brawl?

I'm sure he'll return as a secret character just as he was in Super Smash Bros Melee. Keep in mind they won't release the secret characters before the game is out so odds are he is safely under wraps. His works don't mean anything though as far as characters go though.

It could always be music for a Doctor Mario stage.

Besides, it's just showing what he's done previously, not what he will do. Another example would be Michiko Naruke and Wild Arms, I guess.
