I was under the impression that Brawl was the last of the SSB series. Maybe I'm incorrect about that?

If Brawl exceeds my expectations, they better work on a fourth one.

I'd like to see one that features Rare characters on one side and Square characters on the other. That would kick ass. Too bad Bill Gates bought out Rare. -CSM

Brawl is the last SSB, it was confirmed in the Iwata Asks series.

Not really. Sakurai repeatedly refers to it as "only the third game in the series".
