Yeah, about that attack.

How the f*** do you beat Boss Rush.

I mean seriously, you only get one life in that. Even with the blatantly cheap Lucas/Ivysaur, if you can't get the final boss ALL the way down before it uses that, you're screwed.

Sidestep dodge for every red burst of energy. It IS possible.

Near damned impossible though.

But seriously, what sort of crap is that attack anyways? Unless you're supposed to sticker yourself to death in order to survive that...

I beat the last boss by brute force, really.

Kill him before he can red thingy all your characters to death and it doesn't matter.

Beat SSE. 89 or so %.

...and soon afterwards, unlocked all stages and characters. Not sure wether to be happy or a saddened that I rushed through the game like that.

^ It's weird. Unlocking characters used to be a SERIOUS undertaking. SSE sort of took most of the fun of that away since they just automatically joined you. I think it'd have been more fun if you actually had to do the fight with them to clear the level.

Heh, the only characters I unlocked through the SSE were G&W, R.O.B and Wolf.

I wish it went like this: instead of automatically unlocking the character, the character would challenge you as soon as you quit the SSE.

Actually, in Boss Rush, Tabuu is severly weakened. So, it's much easier to take down

I'm at Tabuu with 80% (didn't find any hidden characters). Hope I can take him down either today or tomorrow.

You shouldn't have found any hidden characters, RF. There's only three actual hidden characters in the SSE. And they all require you to go back after beating Tabuu.

Beat it and got all the stages/characters. Kind of dissapointed with how easy it was to get everything.

Beat it on hard today with ~89%. Working on getting all the hidden stuff and beating it on very hard/intense. Out of curiosity, what difficulty did everyone else play on?
Spoiler Below
I didn't have much trouble with Tabuu, surprisingly. I'd say he was one of the easier bosses in the game (considering you have 6 lives); Duon, Porky, and Galleom were harder to me. I got killed by 'red rings of death' or whatever it is on my last character the first time I fought him (when one more hit would've killed him >_>) but on my second try I managed to dodge them every time and killed him. I think sidestep dodges (those are the ones where you press down, right?) are the best way to beat him, but I haven't tried any other method.

It would be annoying, though, to have 10 'CHALLENGER APPROACHING' battles in a row. I think being able to unlock characters through SSE was a bad idea.

I'm playing it on hard, I will try harder levels when I find all the secret stuff.
