The farther apart you are, the slower the connection. However, the closer you are, the smoother the connection, and the closer that dot will be to the color blue. A blue dot means you have the best connection. Colors "further away" from the color blue indicate how slow your connection will be. Quote:

When you tap a button, it takes about 1/8 of a second for the game to respond. It may not sound like much, but it's enough to throw you off in a major way. |
