Toon Zelda/Tetra's moveset

I was thinking of what other obvious characters could of been added to this new Brawl, and thought of this duo, based on the Link/Toon Link set-up, this would be Zelda/Shiek's toon counterparts, Toon Zelda/Tetra. Toon Zelda would gain speed and mobility, but lose weight, and tetra wouldn't have the same speed and mobility as Shiek, but would probabaly have a higher damage rate and ability to KO with at least one of her specials. I just like the idea cause with this you'd see lots of battles of Ninja Zelda vs Pirate Zelda, which I just think would be funny.

Toon Zelda/Tetra’s moveset.

Toon Zelda’s moveset would be pretty constant I think to her non-toon counterpart, Din’s Fire, Nayru’s Love, and Faroe’s Wind, just probably a bit more toony in design, same thing they did with Link and Toon Link’s moves. The biggest difference is Zelda would be lighter, faster, and have a faster melee attack in comparison to her normal version.

As for Tetra, her moves would be similar to Shiek’s in a few aspects, but work differently.

Normal Special: Cannon Blast. Unlike Shiek who charges needles and then can throw multiple projectiles for small damage each, Tetra would work a little differently. Instead of pulling out small ninja needles, she’d instead pull out a two-hand cannon. It’ll be a charge-up move that when fully charged blasts a heavy cannonball across the stage. The longer you charge it, the farther and faster it will go. I am thinking it will also be similar to Wario’s motorcycle and R.O.B.’s spinner that if you fire it and its laying on the ground, someone else can pick it up and throw it, but it would be a heavy load.

Side Special: Grappling Hook. This move is similar to Shiek’s chain but with a few very big differences. First of all, instead of it being a chain it will be toon Link’s grappling hook from the windwaker game, the rope with the claw hook on the end. As a result, because it was designed for it, it’s shorter but its easily to spin around, plus your able to arc it in circles that actually spin, effectively hitting foes both in front of you and behind you. One of the negatives though is since its just rope, it does very little damage unless you hit someone with the sharp end. Basically is easier to use but harder to actually do effective damage. The hook of course can be used to grapple the sides to recover as well.

Down Special: Transformation. Obviously, transform between Tetra and Toon Zelda.

Up Special: Gale Vanish. This one took me a bit to think up. It’s a little unfinished but I think the concept is there. Basically it’s a vanish/teleport ability, but instead of vanishing in an explosion, it will be a vanish in a gale of wind. It won’t do damage but has sufficient push. This makes it useful it Tetra and another player are off the side trying to recover, Tetra uses her Gale Vanish and it causes a gust of wind that suddenly pushes the other person away and just out of reach of being able to recover.

Final Smash: A little undecided. Now I do think Toon Zelda’s final smash would most likely be the same as regular Zelda’s, the Light Arrow, but I was thinking that instead of Tetra having the light arrow, maybe she’d have Link’s final smash instead. That way she’d be a rare character that actually has two different final smashes, both that work from a distance in a straight line, just one is the Light Arrow (Toon Zelda) and the other is an inverted Triforce Smash (Tetra). This was just a thought though.
