The Halberd Stage could have been better...

MUCH BETTER... Think about it. You don't even fight on the Halberd but on a platform instead. All the interestingness of the stage takes place in the background. I was expecting to fight on the Halberd or inside of it.

You DO fight on the Halberd. The platform lands on the Halberd.

Also, SSE, but that's not really the same, I guess.

Yeah but most of it takes place on a platform.

It does what it was supposed to. It is a basic stage with some nice gimmicks, like beams and flying around.

It's like a very short Mute City.

But with Beams.

3 Kirby people = 2 Kirby stages? Come on, there are 3 Metroid stages for 2 Metroid characters.

There's only one Metroid character. Samus. Unless you're considering Zero Suit Samus to be a second character but really it doesn't make sense since it's the same person.

Samus and ZSS are separate characters. Completely.

The Kirby series got more than enough attention in Brawl. Just look at the SSE.

I think that Samus and ZSS are more separate than say, Zelda and Sheik, because the latter you can change at will, whereas the former is nearly completely dependent on you getting the smash ball.

That's what made SSE so fun to play IMO.

It bugged me. All the Kirby characters got such large roles, while other characters were pushed off to the side.

Kirby saves a princess, Dragoons that cannon, and joins DeDeDe's freedom fighters.
Meta has his ship problem, and gets tons of story-time.
DeDeDe leads the freedom fighters, which basically saves everyone's ass.

Also, if you don't pick up any of the character trophies, you have only 5 characters to use against Tabuu:

DeDeDe, Ness, Luigi, Kirby and Sonic.

Yeah...

Meanwhile...

Marth: So...doing anything tomorrow, Ike?
Ike: O_o

I mean, seriously, did they even do anything? They were in about two stages before the big finale.

^^^Well HAL probably thought Brawl would be a perfect chance to promote Kirby or something.

Even so, c'mon, Sakurai. Balance it up a bit. Instead of having Kirby get free, have...Yoshi or something. He must be hungry too.

Also, Meta saved Lucas and PKMN Trainer.

Yeah maybe a little balance wouldn't have hurt. More Mario roles and maybe a bigger role for Sonic.

Wait did Yoshi even get a role?
