Stage Builder

Share some of your created stages here.

I made a stage with falling blocks that lead to a spike pit. you can get stuck under the spike pit and falling blocks for massive damage. Great fun!

I also made a stage where almost every platform is moving. You have to stay on your toes in this one. Everyones starting point is also right next to each other, so I have to watch out in Sudden Death. Its very easy to get K.O.ed, due to the lack of solid platforms.

"Korobeneiki" and "Kalinka?" are Tetris-block stages, the former being similar to the "Cave" sample stage, & the latter being more of an box-type stage with gaps all around.

"BrainScrap Zone" is a solid zig-zag with icy ends, on top of a soft & holey zig-zag, with a combination of essentially random elements up above.

"Epic" is a 4-piece long soft platform in the middle of the biggest field size. With absolutely nothing else.

"Soft Cell" is a stack of descendingly-shorter soft platforms with ladders above.

"Save Point" is a recreation of the Great Maze's save points.

I also did a CD Factory, a crazy hodge-podge stage with moving platforms & no real continent, & something else I can't remember. And it's all on my ex-roommate console.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Did...you make this?

Because I swear to God I know the person who made this stage, and you very well may have gotten it from them if you didn't.

Well, I've got a few screenshots of levels I made a when the game first came out. I might as well repost them even though I've made stages I like much better now.

Darkworld Castle
Everybody seems to have tried to recreate Hyrule castle from SSB64. Realizing that it was impossible to make an exact match, I opted to make a twisted mirror version, like it might apear in the Dark World. Dark World castle was born.

Tech tower
Looking at the past games, I realized that there's never been a truely vertical stage, except for the scrolling ones, and they don't count. I wanted to make a stage where players would cling to whatever foothold they could find and clash in mid-air as they chase eachother from top to bottom and then back to the top. I made sure to give the players plenty of choices on where and how to fight. This was the first original stage I made.

If anyone's interested in seeing some of my newer, better, work then I can take some more screenshots.

Well, here I have a few of the stages I've made in SB. The widget is fun to use, but sometimes it can be difficult to come up with something original.

Chutes & Ladders
Music: Battlefield Ver. 2

My first ever custom stage. It's very simple, revolving around the use of regular platforms, slopes, and ladders.

Nothing too strange or different, but it's good for a nice, standard Brawl match.

Saguaro
Music: Balloon Trip

An idea that I'd had since before I even had Brawl. The idea of the stage is to create a small, enclosed area with only a single opening at the top. This means in order to KO an opponent, you have to get their damage up high enough that you can actually knock them out of the opening above. Damage levels get very high, very quick, when you're here.

The spikes on top are to prevent players from camping out above. I've revised this level a few times to add new challenges, including increasing the distance you must knock an opponent up to get them out of the box, or to change the regular I-shaped opening into a Y-shaped one, so you have to get your victims to shoot diagonally out of the ring.

Cake Factory
Music: Obstacle Course

I was just having fun with this one. It's a stage comprised almost entirely of conveyor belts, with a few ladders and a single solid platform in the center.

There are four layers to move about on. It can be hard to KO an opponent unless you successfully knock them straight out, because players have a habit of getting smashed and simply bouncing off the solid platforms.

There's no time to stand still here... It's also fun when items appear, since they'll follow the conveyor belts and eventually drop off the stage if nobody goes for them.

Foxhole
Music: Yell "Dead Cell"

I wanted a stage that would be good for ranged battle, and this one actually turned out okay. The stage has several spots to hide and recover, and a few moving platforms to take you across the bottom of the stage.

Damage doesn't always get too high, and KOs usually occur when players are knocked off the bottom of the stage.

Freefall
Music: Stage Clear / Title (Pikmin 2)

That's right, a level made entirely out of falling blocks. This means absolutely no standing still. There's a whole lot of jumping around and knocking people out of your way. If you miss a step, you may as well kiss your ass goodbye.

Poor Peach.

Cradle
Music: White Land

Another simple stage I felt like making. In the pic below, you're looking at pretty much the whole level.

Kind of Battlefield-esque, you just jump around and knock the crap out of each other. Nothing much to it.

Desperado
Music: The Hidden Village

Like Crav, I felt like making a somewhat-vertical level. Desperado was the result.

The floor of the stage consists of a few slopes and some obstacles. The main thing to get around is the tower at the left side of the map, which leads you quite high above the rest of the players. There is also a ferris wheel in the center of the stage, acting as something of a platform between the structures on either side of the map. The usual course of the map seems to be running across the lower part, chasing each other up the tower, and all jumping off to the right side of the stage together.

Scrooge
Music: Town Hall and Tom Nook's Store

This stage was designed for one purpose, and one purpose only: coin matches.

Players start out above, on top of the falling blocks. Upon descending into the spike room, they will bounce around accumulating damage and dropping coins until the blocks above them reappear, sealing them inside. Although it is possible, it is very difficult to actually land a KO once the match has begun. Then again, the main goal is to collect as many coins as you can. I've gotten over a thousand in about a minute on this map. Actually, very fun to goof around on.

That's all for now. If you'd like, I can share some more.

I have lots of stages.

Springs: Four falling platforms for starting points, scattered around the field is springs. If you fall off the spring you're finished!

I also made a Cradle stage

Cradle: Similiar to the one from GoldenEye, this stage contains a ladder with a single platform below it.

Pyramid: It's a pyramid. Be careful you don't fall in the pyramid or else you'll be trapped in a spike pit!

Ladders: Just ladders.

No Escape: Two huge pits, if you fall in one it's almost impossible to escape. Usually an opponent jumps in to fight you.

Sky Scraper: A skyscraper, you can go inside of it where there is an elevator platform.

That's just some of mine.

No, they named it "Epic".

And since that's such a terrible name, I know that not that many people would've named it that.

Came up with it myself. It's really meant to be more silly than anything else.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
