I always thought DeDeDe was awesome, but not this much. I'm also kinda sad Mario is that low on the list.

But in all seriousness, this list doesn't really reflect my personal experences. For example, I main Bowser, and I beat meta knights all the time. Same for Jigglypuff and Link. But then again i believe skill > character base power. But regaurdless, I can see that metaknight is pretty high for a reason.

Hm. I was hoping for a full year before the tier list came out.

Either way, this list actually looks pretty fair...not sure about DDD being top, though. I think High would make more sense.

wait they put metaknight above snake

like a week ago they were agreeing snake was way above everyone, including metaknight

sonic is low, what the christ.

wario and rob are high, holy **** when did people get good with them.

yeah metaknight is the most obvious person to elect for best character, but some of these characters like snake only become "holy **** overpowered" at high levels, when you are comboing people with explosions (not really)

(not that the top tier is at "holy **** overpowered" level, its not)

edit: woah wait toon link is middle, what? no seriously, what?

edit2: ike is low too. I;m gonna say that the smashboard peeps probably lost their mind and started blabing about wavedashing after the first few characters

I tend to ignore tier lists and play as whoever I want to. I'm wondering how this list will change in the future, though.

Also, I feel like playing Brawl now. :\

Of course everybody here can ignore it; none of us are at that super top level where this mainly applies. It's still interesting though.

Also, yeah skill is always the most important part, but the tier list assumes absolutely equal levels of skill. My favorite characters are all over the place on there; it's taking me a while to figure out which one I'm exactly best with.

And really, I find it ridiculous to have an "official" tier list half a year after the game comes out. You can't possibly tell me that there have been enough official tournaments to make a tier list. I won't take it seriously until at least 2009

But I have to say, how the heck is Meta Knight top tier? I mean, he's a pretty good character, I use him sometimes, but better than every other character? I really don't see how he's that good.

assuming people don't give up on brawl and go back to melee for there progaming needs, you can expect this list to change alot. except for metaknight and snake.

because every single one of his moves is like the best move in the game. mach tornado is the new reflector. he does have some problems like his killing power, but apparently hes like really really really really good at edgeguarding so he dosn't need them.
