Dumb SSE Question

I've completed all of the levels, but some of them have a flag on them.

What do they mean?

Simply put, you haven't found all the Treasures in that particular Stage.

And by "Treasures", I mean:
Hidden Characters (J-Puff, Wolf, and T. Link)
Golden Treasure Boxes
Save Points in the Great Maze
Certain Miscellaneous things lying around, waiting to be discovered

It's usually for the Golden Boxes. Try to look for every nook and cranny to find them.

Or use a Walkthrough. I did that.

Well, I've completed the game 100%.

Nothing spectacular happened, though.
