SSBB Tournament

There's going to be a local SSBB tournament in my town next month which I am going to join. Well, only if I think I'm ready. I haven't ever played against anyone who gave me a challenge, aside from one person, and I don't know if they sucked or if I am super badass. I believe the latter. However, for the first time I am gonna battle a VGFer and I think that'll let me know if I am ready or not. Me and Metal Mario will play tomorrow at noon.

Has anybody here ever entered a tournament of any kind, and how well did you do? Also, what character did you pick?

I've been in a few tournaments at school. Always played Luigi (except for one round of my first Brawl tourney, where I played Sonic). Always got at least 3 matches; since it was double-elimination, that means I always won at least once.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
