Bwah-ha-ha! Can't remember the last time we talked about event matches, so I'm doing so. What were some frustrating events for you? I was just playing through the Melee ones, & Trouble King 2 seems a lot harder than it used to be; in fact, I couldn't beat it. Ice Breaker is a bugger, too, mainly because of its time limit. I also struggled with Time For A Checkup ('cause the computer cheats & wouldn't feel my attacks) and Trophy Tussle 4. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

I don't remember exactly what you had to do, but me and my brother had such a hard time with that one. Edit: It's that one where you have to kill 50 Yoshis before going all the way around. The AI is so overpowering. I like the Melee event matches better than the Brawl ones. The Melee ones didn't only have you killing things. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

I kept at doing Time For a Checkup until I had a lucky break where I just kept the Doctor and Peach at bay and ended them both with a Fire Jump Punch. They never had a chance. Felt awesome. Also, in Trouble King 2, Bowser killed himself. ![]() Even with the slow and cheap Jigglypuff method, The Showdown (Event 51) is still a pain in the ass. |

Out of the 62 events in brawl, there are 11 events that don't require you killing something: 3 Coin Matches (all in the Team events), 2 Stage changers (Cleaning House in Skyworld and Flower Blooms in the Echoes), 3 "Survive" events (Super Bowser Bros., Super Waterfall Climb, and Molten Norfair), and 3... I can't really describe, but you don't need to kill in it (Sleeping in the Eggs, Sproutage of the Flower Pikmin, and Power Suit ON!). Melee only has 4 events that don't require something getting killed: 1 Coin Match (Spare Change), 2 Survival Matches (King of the Mountain and Yoshi's Egg) and 1 ripped straight out of its adventure mode (Lethal Marathon). Or if you want the short version: Brawl not only has have a greater # of events that don't "only have you killing things", it also has a greater % of events in that regard (17% for Brawl vs 8% for Melee). Or the super short version: you're wrong. You think you can try to prove otherwise? | |

Not to mention dodging Warios with Kirby to get the Dragoon pieces. |

Also, event 37, Legendary Pokemon, is my favorite. Because the legendaries in Melee owned, especially Articuno and Zapdos and Ho-Oh. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |
