Using the level as your weapon! If the levels in SSB were less "location with platforms", and more "realistic environments with stuff to interact with", I imagine they could implement context-specific attacks relating to the level itself. For instance, you have a match inside a house. In a Madworld-esque turn of controls, you can approach the kitchen appliances, hit the attack button, then wield a toaster like a mace! I think a house-setting would be pretty awesome. Dunk your enemy into the bathtub, throw them through the windows, trip down the stairs. Instead of picking up a gun, you activate the attack which pulls books from the bookcase and throws them rapidly at your opponent. Your Assist is now the family dog! XD What levels would you design in this style? |

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Anyway, can't you use the stage to your advantage anyway? Throw them into the Combo Cannon's beam, throw the koopas at them in Mario Bros? |

I mean, like, destroying bikes/cars in a Racing course could give you Wheels and metal parts, much like with Wario's Bike. That'd be pretty fun. They already implimented the idea with some character abilities/moves, heh. Expanding on it would be great! |

You're defending yourself against the opponents. ![]() But good point. Hrm, what other kind of ones... *looks at the Tank Ads* ...Okay, ripping off pieces of Final Destination for use. It'd make the place less bland that it already is.(fighting-wise, not visuals) |

The pieces could serve as weapons, etc. Maybe Ill make a game like that, it sounds like a good mechanic. Like SMB 2 next gen. |

The Tetrominos fall down randomly. You can safely stand on top of them, but if one falls on top of you, you're injured. Tetrominos are constantly falling down, and layers are disappearing all the time. IT'S CRAZY FUN! Or maybe a Dr. Mario-themed level. I dunno. Do these even fit in with what SD is asking? |
