How about your three FAVORITE stages?

Hey, someone had to do it. For me, it's:

1. Pictochat - I dunno, I like this one because it's unique. The things they add to the stage, like the rockets, pirahna plant, mine cart, just makes it a real interesting stage that offers a lot of unique results. I just like it because it's a real fun stage (For me, anyway).

2. Shadow Moses Island - The atmosphere is actually like a battle, with all the walls, spotlights, and the Metal Gears themselves jumping everywhere and making their piercing yells as they do so really gives the battle an extra touch of epic. And of course, the soundtrack for the stage always completes setting the stage up as a fated battle.

3. WarioWare - Can't stand the music for it, so I turn everything except the main theme off. Despite that, I still like this stage because it's like Pictochat. A simple battle, with the microgames just adding to the value of the level. The stage also allows the tide of battle to change easily, and provides a ton of hectic action, which I like very much.

So, anyone else?

Norfair, Spear Pillar, and Port Town Aero Dive. I like the hazards.

Smashville: I love the backgrounds and characters and that moving platform is more of a hazard and strategy-builder than it seems.

Area 6: Love all the music options, and it's a pretty simple stage with a super kickin' background.

Wario Ware: Best party level ever. It's fun to not obey the commands every now and again. (DON'T MOVE! ... ... psych!)

Battlefield: I just love these kind of stages, honestly.

Port Town Aero Drive: Some of the best music in the game, helped by being similar to Mute City.

Yoshi's Island: Another great course. Good music, good design.

I do admit I like somewhat static courses, but that's due to me trying to defeat the opponent, not the course.

SSB Great Fox is my favourite stage ever. Big open area, with amusing hazards. And that huge fin facilitates some awesome-ass juggles, son.

Second favourite is Melee's Fountain of Dreams. Pretty much solely for the music.

So since I can't actually think of 3 stages from Brawl I hold at a rank higher than "neutral", here's my favorite from all 3 games.

N64: Mushroom Kingdom
Melee: Big Blue
Brawl: WarioWare

Oh, I thought we were going Brawl stages still, in the vein of the other thread.

In that case, my 3 favorites would be N64 Hyrule Castle, Melee Fountain of Dreams, and Brawl Smashville.
