Trivia:
--While the cave walls do damage players who make contact, they also prevent KOs as long as the Great Fox is in the cave.
--The fighters appear for far briefer intervals & fire much less often here than they do on either Sector Z or Corneria.
--The Venom stage's music is actually the main theme of the StarFox series. As I'll repeat later on, the real music from Venom is used on the Corneria stage.
--Although the tail fin of the Great Fox will block all projectiles, any sufficiently long-armed or sword attack can clip through to opponents standing on the other side.
--Thanks to item gravity, potential weapons (especially Bob-ombs & Pokeballs) tend to end up in the same two spots all the time.

Venom is my favorite StarFox stage. It's tourney-banned because of the wall in the middle, but I love that wall. All kinds of fun tricks to be played with that wall. Also, Luigi has a blast slip-sliding all over those wings.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I always liked Sector Z/Corneria better.

Not a fan of the remake. Too small.
