Crud, I thought I did really well (as in +7) then I realized I forgot to set it to team battle. fine I'll just go try again!

EDIT: Well, technically It didn't make much of a difference, since now I am logging a score of +6.
Since it seems like a large score, here's the final breakdown for everyone

Unless my Gamecube is lying to me, yes they were. I checked twice, after that first time, I wanted to be sure I could record any scores I made.
Since the first time I tried I got a -3 or so, I'm pretty sure they were all 9, and from the amount of explosions, and lack of everything else, I'm sure the items were right. I'm completely sure it was a team match, and they were all bowser, and the level was Rainbow cruise.

I'm certain you didn't want to know all that.

and I'd be glad to be Marth from now on.

EDIT: Now it's my turn to question you. I'm reporting scores of +6, +6, and +7. In none of those I did I even break 20 with my kills score, nonetheless total score. I'm pretty sure of my settings matching. Do your skills purely lie in non-team battles, or is someone's settings here bad?
Or did I just have some crazy zen day last time?

All I have to say about my scores is this: Bowser and Ganon are the only two people I have trouble sending flying with Roy's Blazer (Up+B) and Double-Edge Dance. Of the three (Roy, Marth, Link), Link is the one who's hardest, and only because he throws stuff and does that pogo-sword thing.

And skills don't lie. Maybe I'm just better at putting other people in the way than you are. Some people are simply better in free-for-alls than they are at team battles. It also helps that there's a mix of items.

Score:

P1: 39 KOs, 11 Falls, 1 SD: +26
P2 (CPU Roy): 15 KOs, 14 Falls, 0 SDs: +1
P3 (CPU Marth): 2 KOs, 23 Falls, 1 SD: -22
P4 (CPU Link): 4 KOs, 14 Falls, 0 SDs: -10

Again:

P1: 34 KOs, 10 Falls, 1 SD: +22
P2: 5 KOs, 14 Falls, 0 SDs: -9
P3: 6 KOs, 13 Falls, 0 SDs: -7
P4: 5 KOs, 14 Falls, 0 SDs: -9

And this probably proves that it's not a 'skills lie' situation:

P1: 50 KOs, 8 Falls, 2 SDs: +38
P2: 6 KOs, 20 Falls, 1 SD: -16
P3: 6 KOs, 23 Falls, 1 SD: -19
P4: 3 KOs, 17 Falls, 2 SDs: -18

I thought that, since it was hard for me, that Roy would provide a challenge
For fighting Roy at Lvl 9 is very hard

But for Starblade, it was easy

It was like a walk in the park, with the little dog.

That's probably true, It also might be that I'm using Marth now, instead of Roy.

My opening move for this battle every time: Run to the right and OHKO Marth with Blazer. ^_^

Damage at 2.0 really gives Roy the advantage with that heavy rising attack.

241 on the first try (Power Poser got me 30 in the last second), and I'm not doing it again.
I hate hammers on Fourside. Not because of the falling, but because you can't see them against the background while the CPUs magically know about them.
