Great times.

Yeah. That's was a metric buttload of fun. But, as all good video game series, it suffered from video game series rot. Much like a banana, it starts off kind of hard and unpalettable, but it turns ripe pretty quickly, and then it just starts to get mushier and slimier as the days go by. It was kind of a good move on Capcom's part to just start an entirely new timeline and get some good games out on that.

They could definitely retest the original formula. 7 and 8 suffered from the whole character-taking-up-too-much-space issue, and the gba release of Megaman & Bass was worse.
