Roger Ebert is a God among men.

Read the quotes from the Zero-Star reviews.

Read his review of Guy Ritchie's Revolver.

Sometimes he's very, very right, but sometimes he gets facts wrong, and that just makes his opinion sound uninformed. See UHF for an example.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

That doesn't change the fact that he's the best damn writer, period.

Even though I sometimes disagree with him, he always explains why he likes or doesn't like a movie, and 99.9% of the time, his reasons are quite good. (Although, I personally have a bit of a problem with his review of David Lynch's masterpiece Blue Velvet)

Critics don't understand Lynch, for the most part. Ebert has bizarre taste.
