Glitches

Not "crash your system" glitches, more like, "walk through a wall" glitches. These kinds are awesome.

I kinda like those, but sometimes it's not worth it. I like glitches that could affect the very way you play the game. Like the "0-star Victory" from SM64.

My favorite glitch was a graphic glitch that occured while I was playing Super Mario Bros.

All of the graphics started jumbling together and doing crazy stuff. The top of Mario's head came off and looked like it was flapping in the wind. The game started counting down through letters and then graphics. As the coup de gras, Mario's name changed to Mevis. This has since been known as Mevis's Bad Acid Trip.

There was the freaky time in the Whomp tower level that Mario fell from the top, hit the water, and then sunk halfway into the ground. The music freaked out and the game crashed.

It was a very hot summer when that happened.

The best video game glitch is the screen warp glitch from Link's Awakening. You could do all sorts of messed up stuff with that one, like have Marin follow you around for the entire game.-jay
