Nick Cage movies

They're awesome. I mean, not seriously, but in the Manos or Plan 9 kind of way. So bad that they're awesome, especially when you have others over. One of my personal favorites is Ghost Rider.

So was 'Raising Arizona'.

But then, of course, we also have 'The Wicker Man', which...wow.

The Wicker Man was such a sad, sad remake. Sad.

I'm pretty sure National Treasure (and sequels) would've faired better without Cage. He did alright in them, though.

^National Treasure would've been better without the love story shoehorned in.

It all really just boils down to this: Cage can't play romance. In the movies where he doesn't have to, like Raising Arizona, he's good. In the movies where he does, like It Could Happen to You, he's bad.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I'm mostly referring to his latest roles, which for the most part have been a load of garbage. See: Next, Ghost Rider, Wicker Man. Not touching Bangkok Dangerous with a ten foot pole.

National Treasure was pretty good. I'd prefer the role to be somebody whom I like (I'd say Brendan Fraser. He's ****ing awesome and if you say otherwise I will punch you).

I think his best was Lord of War.

A bunch of my friends held a Nick Cage-a-thon a couple weekends ago. I was sick & had to do a project.

I've been thinking of having a Nick Cage-athon for a while. Possibly like first week of summer vacation.

The National Treasure movies were the best ever. And I felt Nick played the role of Ben Gates perfectly.

I wasn't too crazy about his role in Con Air, though. Maybe it's just because Con Air was too hard to keep up with.

Personally, I just think Cage gets some of the worst lines imaginable and does what he can with them.
