Fortunately, my parents drop by to visit every now and again, so I can ask them to smell me. And I make them stick their noses right up against me, too. They always seem to think I'm fine. |

And I get these weird, uncomfortable sores on the insides of my thighs. Apart from those things, though, I can deal. I just got out of the shower now, actually. Feels good, I'll admit, although it'll probably be at least another two weeks before my next one. I like to make it at least bi-monthly, though. Four weeks is a bit long, even for me. |

I can always smell myself when I start getting kinda rank. In fact, I notice it before anybody else does. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

At a rate of one bath per month, that should be twelve baths...right? I know he said he generally does it bi-monthly but I meant at his current rate. |

I do have a touch of Asperger's Syndrome (not a crippling sackful of it, just a touch), and I believe there are some other people here who do too. They could testify to the fact that Asperger's makes you a little bit weird when it comes to certain mundane, everyday things.

I've been doing this experiment recently where I don't use soap (but I still shower daily); so far it has gone along well. Soap is designed to cut away all of the skin's oils, so after a shower your skin works overtime to prevent your skin from turning into rough rawhide. The theory is if you don't use soap, the oil layer stays somewhat intact, and you don't exude as much. Inspired by boingboing: Body washing with water alone | Boing Boing Also, this thread is kind of gross. Like, I know it's great how you can say anything on the Internet, but reading this felt unsavoury. |

Well, obviously, when I think I stand a chance of meeting somebody, I shower. But there just aren't that many opportunities where I live. Last edited by Metal Mario; 03-17-2010 at 01:19 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
