| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | Anime in Japan is to Sitcoms in America. There are some good series, and a lot of sucky ones you wouldn't want to watch more than once (if at all). There's always a couple of good ones, though. |

Apparently, Anime evolved from two sources: american cartoons and comics, and from temple wall paintings of monks doing martial arts. The big eyes used in anime come from characters like Betty Boop from American animation. |

Miyazaki is my favorite director of all time. And, yes, anime IS just cartoons with cultural differences in plot and detail. |
