The first season was alright since it was a new show, but it's quite redundant. How can nine seasons of this even exist? Like 10 people live in a house, they create drama, do stupid tasks to become head of household, vote off people, but then others come back on later in the game, then one guy is like an insider or something, two are actually brothers or something else and etc. There doesn't really seem to be any motive for this show at all besides the one person that just stays in the house longest and wins $250,000. If I was on the show I'd just sit on my ass and watch TV all day. If there is someone that actually watches this show perhaps they can explain how this show still exists, and like maybe why it's good enough to still be on the air? Oh and don't take this personally if you like the show. I just despise this thing. Only good part of this show IMO when this girl Jamie in the first season was like "Oh, well I'll just vote for whoever comes out on the dice!" and rolled dice and voted for that member. |

| What's this what's this a trick with a twist? Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Shhhh, it's a secret right now Gender: Posts: 13,619 Thanks: 1,146 Thanked 757 Times in 438 Posts | I disagree with this topic, compared to the other Reality BS out there, this is actually grade A ish. Big Brother > You It has been my fav since 01, and continues to be. And btw, there is no TV in the house and contestants are required to compete in competitions for power in the house. The only TV is for them to talk to the host before each live eviction. The reward is 500K not 250 Do your research before you bash something son. Each week they compete for HoH, HoH must nominate two people for eviction two days later. A couple of days after that, six contestants play for Power of Veto, whoever wins it can take off one of the nominees, leaving another member to be put up in their place, at the end of the week the members that aren't nominated or HoH must vote to evict one of the nominees. Repeat process. What you may not know from not watching the show is that there is a LOT of strategy that goes into it, you can't just play at will. You get no outside information, no TV, no internet, no phone, nothing, until last season, you couldn't have music. Each move you make has to be strategic, because someone could rat you out and have you gone, and as the number of people gets less and less, it becomes harder and harder. And of course they want to keep people who're complete *******s or entertainment on. I'm sure they wanted to keep Amber on Big Brother 8 because she would cry all the time. And it was dead-obvious they wanted to keep Dick on Big Brother 8. Because he lived up to his namesake and proved himself to be an absolute dick. |
