| THE ALL AROUND YUMMIEST. Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: Maryland Gender: Posts: 5,774 Thanks: 127 Thanked 116 Times in 82 Posts | Fat People on Wal-Mart scooter carts Seriously, they have a policy where anybody can use it. I broke my leg, and I wanted to use one because I needed to go shopping with my mom for little things and what she needed was way back in the store. They were all out. It was cool, and my Mom pushed me around in the little wheelchair they offered me. But halfway through the trip Mom wanted a cart so we went back to the front. A heavy woman was outside smoking a ciggerate while on her cell was on one. The greeter goes outside and asked if we could take it since her party was here to pick her up. She said... "I NEED IT BECAUSE I CANNOT WALK FAR." ...She then goes into the car ranting and raving, and the battery was extremely low and sluggish. I told Mom I would wait for another one up front and the greeter was talking to me how much of a bitch that fat person was, that she comes every saturday and do the same ****. A kind little old lady offered me hers that her husband is in the check-out line. I thanked her and went back to my Mom. But seriously...why be defensive off of something you don't even own? __________________ ![]() WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?! |

This has been the topic of many discussions in my Health and PE classes this semester. We're so used to just trying to find the easy way to do things, and that's probably how she got that way in the first place. Now I don't know her life story, and I can't really judge her, but from the attitude you suggest she has, she's just bitter. She'll get over it. PS: Seriously? Smoking? That's why she can't walk any ****in where. __________________ |

What bothers me is people running around everywhere like it's the apocalypse inside the store, fighting over $1 DVDs like they're the last ones in existence. They don't get outta your way unless you walk straight at them, which is fine for me, but bugs out my sister and mother, therefore cutting short my time to decide what to get. Not very cool. Then there's the cash register people who ignore the law in our state that allows for $10 or less gift cards to be exchanged for cash--had to ge tthe manager to explain that one. Apparently they're trying to pretend it doesn't exist in order to keep our money. Also not cool. But they haven't done anything as awful as Best Buy yet, so I merely evade shopping in their stores. |
