Partly because school's got me so busy, but mostly because women break down and sob in terror at my approach. Still, there's always TF2... __________________ Boo--beware, he lives |

Bah, it's not quite a win-win situation if you ask me. But I never had a date either in my life. On the flip side, that statement I just made could sound awful for it seems that I am implying that I wouldn't want to waste time on a gift for someone I cared about. Meh, it's a confusing holiday nonetheless, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's an awful holiday. Maybe somewhat a thorn, but nothing to absolutely despise it. I generally try to keep my mind off of dating, I just pretend what things would be like if I were to be dating with ones I'm interested in(look-wise, since I do not know their personalities), but even then I try to analyze their personalities. Like the girl is Calc is very pretty and probably is very nice, but I know in the long run we're not on the same level of compatibility of dating. I have come to accept it to be hard to find a good candidate to date, not because I have high standards, but because I could be difficult to get along with. I can either be cut or dry dead serious, or I can joke around so much with cliches, puns, or randomness that I am utterly annoying. So until I find an sweet spot in between those two, I think I'm out of luck. |

And if you have no haypenny, then God bless you. If you don't have a car, then put it on your desk. If you don't have a job, then you probably shouldn't be watching TV. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Gender: Posts: 12,595 Thanks: 573 Thanked 962 Times in 648 Posts | My beef with Valentine's day is that I don't really buy into all the commercialism of it. I'd much rather get flowers or a genuine gift of affection from someone spontaneously, any given day of the week. While having a day out of the year to show appreciation for those you love is nice, it definitely gets lost in the shuffle of the commercial holiday sales. It, like Christmas, definitely gets diluted in it's true meaning. Besides, my guy should spend all 365 days of the year showering me with gifts... ![]() |

She got them just before Valentine's Day. I completely forgot about Valentine's Day. |

Instead, I shared chocolates with my family and friends. |
