But, no, I haven't tried that. The only problem with that though is I'll fall asleep on the couch, and my room is UPSTAIRS...and I have to get up early tomorrow, and my alarm clock is in my room... |

It works for losers like me. |

The best source I suggest that's full of "tryptophan" are dairy products, such as poultry rice, lentils, maybe peanuts and whole grain!!! Listening to Rick Astley - never gonna give you up usually helps too, your Royal highness!!! No tis true, I swear. ![]() |

Gender: Posts: 1,576 Thanks: 0 Thanked 76 Times in 57 Posts | I always go to bed at twelve, get into bed, and then get to sleep ten minutes later. Then I wake up, but stay in bed for a little while before I get out at around 8:30 It's never hard for me to get to sleep. Sometimes I decide not to stay up until midnight and go to bed at 11:30, read for 30 minutes or less, then get to sleep because I'm too damn tired to stay up. Most of the time, I go to bed because I don't have anything else to do, or I am just bored, want the day to end, and want the new one to begin anew so I can start all over again. I just get into bed, stay awake for a few minutes, then get to sleep. So no, I don't experience insomnia, and I am glad that I don't. |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | I suck at self-regulating my sleeping habits. I just seem to fall into Tokyo time; sleep at 4ish in the morning and get up at 1pm. =\ |

Gender: Posts: 1,252 Thanks: 57 Thanked 64 Times in 57 Posts | Sleep Dear Lady, the night is enfolding thou, drift, and so lightly to my voice, on crystalline streams; Whapped in it's alluring perfumes, thou find the darkness holding thou. Starlight till twilight bespangles the way of your dreams, like a lullaby chorus thee nightingales, wistfully amorour; Blessedly quiet, the blare of day. All sweet hours may your visions be glamorous-sleep, Dear lady, as long as thou may desire. Sleep Dear Lady, the night shall be ever so still for thou; Silvered and silent, it watches thou rest peacefully. Each little breeze, in it's eagerness will for thou murmur the melodies ancient and blest. So in the midnight does happiness capture thou; Morning is dim with another day's tears. Give yourself sweetly to images rapturous-sleep, Dear Lady. The world awaits day with thou; Girlish and Golden, the slender young moon. Grant the fond darkness it's mystical ways, Dear Lady; morning returns to you ever too soon, roses unfold in their alluring loveliness, all for thou; blossem the liles does for hope of your radiant glance. So sleep dear Lady, tis all I ask!!! *Jesus, I still have da red eye, bloody insomnia* |

Had to get up in time to shower in time to go to early mass & get home in time to eat in time to get to work on time. Some Norah Jones might help you drift off. She has a very dreamy voice. Ooh! Or try "Section 10 (A Long Day)" by the Polyphonic Spree. It's basically a half-hour of white noise. Quote:

Seriously half the bloody time I'm not sure what I bloody say/write when I'm fatigued, Jesus Christ I work my bloody ass off seven days a week (yes fatigued or not I still drag my ass though the door). And I come here to offer ZeldaGirl some advice about her sleeping issues (so I thought, I guess I was wrong) because yeah I too suffer from bloody insomnia so I know it ain't pleasant. Only to get you jumping on my back. How disrespectful sir!!! Anyway, I'm way too tired (I haven't had much sleep lately) for this nonsense, I've got work In three hours so I really don't have time for for needless arguments!!! |
