The Phillies should be like 5 games ahead of the Mets right now, except we have very little good starting pitching.

They're 3 up (though you're right, their P-W/L would have them 5 up on the Mets), but they've allowed the 8th fewest runs in the ML. In the NL, they're 4th fewest RA. Phillies are pitching well enough and hitting well enough to win the division, especially considering the Marlins failed in the ManRam chase, the Mets failed to do, well, anything, and the Braves sold.
