Hot Summers

I hate hot summers.

I especially hate them at night when I go to bed. I toss and turn because I can't cool down. The central air conditioner or whatever the hell it's called does nothing to stop the misery. I'll be glad when the cooler Fall months arrive.

Suffering in the heat puts me in a bad mood.

I prefer heat to cold. I'm more comfortable baking than I am freezing.

So far, it hasn't been too hot for me this summer.

Come enjoy a Wisconsin winter sometime. Especially in Madison and/or the coast of lake Michigan.

This is taking the good whit the bad.

Where i live we have this to be happy about and what we are not so happy about.

Summer
Good things : Bad things
Its warm : Horse flyes and mosquitos (LOTS OF THEM)
Hiking : Combined whit warm and above its not so good
It never gets dark This messes whit you sleep pattern trust me.
You are not knee deep in snow.:

Winter
Good things : Bad things
Snow (Lots of it) : Shovel it
No Mosquitos : It can get pretty damned cold here (-52C is the record in sweden and i live near that place where they measured it)
Snowmobiles :

They ad up just hang out.

It got up tt 97 - 101 temp last week, with the heat index from 100 - 110 .
I should say that I'm measureing in fahrenheit.

Every night had about the same temperature asa the daytime, but it would usually get down by about 3 - 10 degrees.
But seriously, it was 101 degrees at 10:30 PM for a nearby town.
Fortunately its cooled down a bit now.

^Ironicly we've been wishing for rain.

I also hate how it's always sixty degrees hotter in the US than in Canada. You guys really need to work on your end of the global warming problem.

I prefer winter to summer, simply because you can put on more to get warm, but can only take off so much to get cold.

It took longer for the heat to kick in this year than it usually does. It's usually consistently warm by mid-April, and stays in the upper 70s and whatnot, then gets scorching in May, calms in June, goes to hell in July and August, then cools off once September hits.

So far this year, it was pretty chill until mid-May, then it just got hot. Until yesterday it was 105 for the four days, with a heat index of 112.

Today and yesterday were absolutely amazing, since it was only 88 with a breeze. Still, I'm afraid for what July holds if this is June....
