Doesn't the orthodontist specialize in straightening your teeth? I've had cavities and I've only ever been to the dentist. |

I didn't want braces, since it was a purely cosmetic option, and my family aren't nutcases about making decisions for other people. *shrug* :{O |

Are they all your teeth, or did you just steal them from other people so you can spit teeth at people if you get into a fight? |

My teeth were, and would still be perfectly straight, if I hadn't gotten kicked in the face by another kid wearing his, "cowboy boots," when I was around two. (it's okay though, I got'em back the same day, by smashing his hand in the front door of his house.) Sorry about the Pain, CL, Hope you feel better soon. ![]() | |

And even then I only need them at night. And only stopped wearing them since they started to irritate a sore tooth (stupid dental work), which I regretted when the bottom one felt really really tight after a month or so of not wearing a retainer at night. (Went away after one night thankfully) My sister has had braces, then a retainer, then a rake that was glued to her mouth for a few months, then my friends had braces and would constantly complain about how everything tasted metallic or how a wire was poking them and how much it hurt when they tightened the braces, how they couldnt' chew gum and how much some of htem had to brush per day and how my sister still had poor dental health afterwards...obviously there's a good reason I'm trying to stay the hell away from them. :@ I actually haven't seen the orthodontist since I was 12. Now I'm 20. He probably forgot that my sister had a younger brother. |

My parents are all just like RAWR STRAIT TEETH and I'm like um k you fork over the money. *shrug* It's still lame. I can't even make the fish face anymore. D}: |
