Well last year, the Band camp kids on the campus trashed the rec centre and got away with it and have apparently been responsible for other messes around the campus during the week(s) they came. Of course, we learned that unless the conference guests are caught in the act being *******s by the people in charge, the conference-hosts won't believe us when we say someone trashed the rec centre or smeared Subway all over the carpet in the student centre. well this year they finally caught 'em. During the lunch hour, some joker thought it'd be sooooo funny to pee all over a comfy chair in a student centre lounge. The janitors then caught the right dude in charge, told them a kid mistook the chair for a urinal, then he rounded up ALL The band camp kids in there and threatened to start taking away their debit cards (Which they get to buy food on campus for the week) if the person didn't admit to marking his territory on the chair. I imagine he did, but then the janitors found that some other joker who may or may not have been a camper had now flushed a bunch of paper towels down the toilet and thus was now flooding a men's room on the lower level..... Of course the stories of dumb campers doesn't stop with just the high-school band camp. A lotta Summer Camp kids come to Subway during the summer, and they're younger. They haven't done anything like trash the rec centre, but they HAVE utterly trashed the lower level lounge. Usually after they leave, there's almost always at least 50 bags, wrappers, and half-eaten food covering the floor but thank god there's no bodily samples. (They've also been more annoying customers. One girl was silent, then screamed bloody murder non-stop for literally an entire minute before taking a breath.) |

A small group of them have taken to tormenting me while I'm trying to study. It only happens sporadically, & most of the stuff is easy to ignore, but a couple nights ago they got so persistent & stalkerish that I had to actually chase them away and file a safety report. For the record: I am out of shape. I have always been out of shape. I have never been fast. The brat got away from me, but only because he had a head start; I was gaining when he got through some doors & went outside. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |
