How about the people that brake when people are passing a cop who is on the side of the road with each car traveling about 50 mph as if the cop is going to spin around and do a quick 180 to nab you?

Those people sort of 'agervate' me too. Silly people.

Actually, a friend of mine got out of a ticket that way. He had been pulled over by a cop, but then another guy went racing past at about 100 MPH, and the cop took off to chase him instead.

The fastest route from my school to my hometown goes through a couple of notorious speedtraps; you'd be stupid NOT to slow down when you see cops there. If they can't follow you, they WILL radio for someone else to.

I don't really care. *shrugs* I hear most people do it in the event that someone runs out and they need to stop or the cop signals them to slow down for an emergency vehicle or osmething but I only hear this.

The WORST ones are when some asswipe is constantly slamming the brakes for no good reason.

^Oh, yeah, I hate that too. I never brake on the freeway unless there's a physical obstacle; when I just need to slow down a little, coasting works fine. But I do care about getting pulled over; I can't afford the time, the ticket, or the insurance-payment spike after the ticket.

They might've thought you were tailgating them. Man, when someone tailgates me, sometimes I drop to extremely low speeds just to piss them off.
