Because their customer service or lack thereof just plain outright bloody SUCKS. So we're having problems with our telephones just not picking up things and internet lagging like mad. It's not the Linksys that's the problem in regards to the internet, it's the Comcast. If Linksys wireless network was the problem, our telephones would be working fine. (We have comcast phone service too) now there's another catch 22...we need to call them for repairs, but we can't use the landlines. Know why? We get put on hold for four hours (Must be a busy night) But then during which, the phone keeps dropping. We call again...more hold. We don't have time for this! So we just use a cell phone. Obviously something is wrong. So we call and they say they'll send someone over, okay no problem. ...except this was last Saturday we called. Now it is Sunday a week later and still nothing. While we can at least use the internet..why do we keep making the same mistake of expecting Comcast to show up?! We call and say "uh, he said he'd be here by Tuesday", afer waiting for several hours on hold and they just say "Someone will be over". Of course Comcast doesn't believe in compensation. :| The last few times this has happened we've had no phone service or internet for up to three weeks but were charged for an entire month anyways and weren't even told "oh sorry". Sadly no ISP's offering service in our area except AOHell and let's just say it's called AOHell for a reason... |

Or maybe GamerGuyWhoHasMoreGamesThanFriendsOL. Personally, I think they should just cave and make it officially Losers Online, so it abbreviates to LOL, which is what we'll be doing at anyone that willingly submits to their "service" |

There's simply no financial incentive to do so; who are you going to switch to, the other crappy telcom company? |

Oh no, let's just stay with Comcrap for now and hope AT&T or Qwest decides to offer service out here. Which they DON'T. (And Qwest is supposed to be pretty handy considering they're specializing in the west...) AT&T meanwhile decided to jerk off with my microeconomics professor when he lived in Utah. They started to charge him for two accounts. He only was paying one because, he only HAS one account. But then they get a message saying that he's not paying and he has to pay for the other account but he's only paying what he owes. So eventually AT&T shuts off service and he brings it up with them with how he was being charged double what he actually owed. And of course, no compensation... | |
