Flying Enemies in Tales Games.

Especially if you don't have an archer.

You could jump depending on the game you know.

What about mages? A lot of Tales of games give you at least one mage, and they usually have something that'll hit flying enemies.

But yeah, some of them can get incredibly annoying...Kroma dragon can suck it.

^Like those damn bomb-shooting flying mushroom creatures in LA, which I am just going through now. Those things are such an annoyance to me...

True but they tend to attack in pack and unless your playing mage it's unlikely they'll use an effective arte.

Only Tales game I've played it Symphonia, and if Lloyd jumps he can destroy the flying enemies. Then they just fall and become powerless.

That bird boss outside Raithrall's Tomb in FF12 is annoying as heck. Thank goodness you have Vossler's telekinesis at the time.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Anyone here play Castlevania on the NES?

If so, Medusa heads. That is all.

The only game I recall having this issue in was Vesperia, solely because the characters move SO SLOWLY that by the time I'd managed to jump I'd been owned again by the stupid enemy.

I know it's a balance thing because of the benefits of Free Run, but still. 2 mph is a bit on the slow side.

They're a minor annoyance in Abyss, especially since I play as Luke most of the time.

Vesperia happens to be the game I was talking about so I see this isn't an...uncommon complaint.

Judith and Raven help a little though...a little...

Those weren't too bad in Order of Ecclesia.
Plus
Spoiler Below

you can get a back-glyph that lets you summon a swarm of Medusa heads to surround you, moving in the Gradius option pattern.

Yeah, Castlevania II medusa heads were seriously a perfect-timing-required deal. It's not the enemy itself as much as the placement and your inability to control the moment of your jump.
