Yes, on the rare occasion that I can actually make contact with an available female within my general age group. I've tried all the bars/pubs in my town, which are the only social venues around. There are lots of hot chicks there, but none of them are there to expand their social horizons. They're just there to drink and giggle with the party that brung 'em

I've tried numerous different dating web sites and contacted dozens of women on each (I've lost the luxury of being picky), always with no result.

I'm unemployed at the moment, but from September 2008 to August 2009 I was employed at Wal-Mart. There were some prospects there, but they all turned me down too.

Very true, but there's this sense of lively unpredictability in the city that isn't really in the suburbs. At least from my experience, anyway.
