Pre-Senior Year Senioritis

This is the second time I've had this. First in HS, now in college. Late junior year I catch senioritis. I'm so tired of classes, and I'm just ready to be done with all of this, my future career fields don't even require college.

I HATE SCHOOL

I HATE SCHOOL

I HATE SCHOOL

But I'm going to finish or die trying gotdammit

Just keep doing it, and tell yourself you hate it all the way through.

That's how I've gotten through tough spots. "This sucks... I'm doing it anyway."

Really... because I'm in my last semester and I wish I had a few more left.

I could do without all the homework and taking classes that I don't care about just to fill out my general requirements (thankfully I've been done with the latter for a while), but I simply love taking classes on things I'm interested. If I were rich, I'd stay and quintuple major in Comm Arts, History, East Asian studies, Philosophy, and something dealing with literature.

Coincidentally enough, these are all majors that make no money.

I'm a Mass Comm major, and those classes aren't bad, but my core and my minor, they suck. The two classes that are going to eat up most of my time this semester are Physical Geology and Human Anatomy.

A freshman girl in my house put it perfectly: "I'd love to live the college lifestyle forever, just without classes."

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^ I would like to amend that to: "I'd love to live the college lifestyle forever, except without homework."

Of course, then there's the argument that without homework we'd learn nothing.

Also, there's the fact that I actually sometimes enjoy doing homework for classes I'm interested in. I read an entire one of my required texts for class before classes started. The book was The Way Hollywood Tells It by David Bordwell, a book I highly recommend to anyone interested in film studies or film making, along with prett much everything else Bordwell and his wife Kristin Thompson have written.

I'd love to live the college life forever...but without the hideous crafting projects.

I seriously hope nothing's as bad as carrying that damn plant press everywhere.
