Canada Geese

These pests.

It's amazing how cute these things are as babies - yet they grow up into vicious little creatures. Not only did they turn the campus into a minefield, but they regularly attack students who get within a dozen or so kilometers of them. D:< This morning I was walking to class and suddenly got two geese going after me and attacking me. Ran off. Then during Greenhouse Management, we were looking at the greenhouses from the outside and then lab got interrupted because ANOTHER flock attacked the lab group. D:<

All they do is eat grass and crap everywhere. They are called "flying cows" for a reason, although they do not give milk, which makes them pretty crappy cows.

I wonder if they just call them "geese" up north.

The spring is the worst; that's when they have all their goslings. I run along the water and usually they'll just fly away but they'll get defensive around their kids. -CSM
