The people siding the house.

Apparently it's supposed to have been done today...yeah, it's not even halfway done. :/

And it's not that they're slow, I know how difficult this can be. (It's a two-story house) Except what I am instead ranting about is the fact that they were given a deadline. They were doing great, until last friday when all of a sudden, only two people showed up and as a result couldn't really get anything done.

We were also told they were coming in on Saturday by their manager. Apparently, he didn't tel them, because none of them showed up.

On Monday, it's a VERY nice day. It was 80/26 - a beautiful day, no wind, anything. And...nobody shows up. At all. The neighbours who're retired even said "Yeah, nobody came by." (They're kind enough to watch the house during the day for us when we're not home.

We did that for them when they went camping) So the job's not even half done...and the deadline is today.

Yeah, I know, things happen...but apparently they weren't talking to the manager to say "We're a bit behind", because when we called to complain about the absent workers he only said "Oh, that's not good...well I promise it'll be done by Tuesday." and on Saturday, apparently took the day off or was sick, and the line was busy all monday when Dad called to complain or at least get an explanation.

I wouldn't be as annoyed if they at least had the courtesy to call and say "Yeah, sorry we can't get this done by Tuesday because we got behind", but so far there's been no explanation and the manager has apparently skipped town seeing as he's still not answering the phone.

And these people were asking for us to recommend them to our friends...uhm...yeah, I don't think so.
