A great, great number of "adult" oriented sitcoms must be destroyed. Bad actors, bad jokes, bad episodes.

The biggest problem with them is, the network heads are introduced some of the worst, most idiotic premises for a show.. and they go with them.

"Okay, so there's a guy who thinks his dog is his fiancee, and lives in a luxurious penthouse with a bunch of snotty teenagers constantly breaking in, and his female lawyer has the hots for him and constantly tries to get him to notice her instead of the dog!!! I call it "Battles with Muff!"

Network head: I LOVE IT! Now go hire yourself some people off the street!

NBC's Fall Lineup:
Battles with Muff, Mon. & Wed. 8:30 PM

Thumbs down

Tub's post reminds me of the AWESOME-O episode of South Park, where Cartman pitched several horrible ideas for Adam Sandler movies to the movie executives, and they all went along with them.

Sitcoms are a dying art. We used to have good sitcoms like Seinfeld and Fraiser, which are being thrown out for the sake of Will and Grace, which is probably one of the ultimate one-joke shows.

"LOL IM GAY"

Speaking of one-joke shows, that crappy new Blue Collar TV show on Comedy Central should get the can. "LOL WE'RE REDNECKS LOOK AT US BE REDNECKS"

(Boy, I really get VGFers pissed at me whenever I state my opinion.)

I never really read Archie itself, but I did read a nice number of the Sonic comics by Archie. Pretty good stuff.
In this post, you call someone Hitler for not liking Megaman Legends, wonder why people don't appreciate your opinions, and then go on to condone the crappy Sonic comics by Archie. </font>[/quote]Did anyone catch that my opinions usually differ from others? Why did you think I said Invader Zim wasn't good?

Yeesh.

I loved that episode, and the head guy tried to have sex with him

Seinfeld was great, I didn't like Fraiser to well
UPN carries some good sitcoms, and I bet if some cable channels came up with good sitcoms everything'd be well

I like the Mon and TUES nights on UPN,
The Parker's was a great show that only became cancelled because after one of the seasons they got tired of characters that really made the show (Nikki, Prof. Ogolbee, Kim, Stevie, and that one guy that was always with Stevie.)
So they ended the series on the worst note ever, Kim gets pregnant, and after years of Nikki blindlessly chasing after the Prof., The Prof. realizes that he loves Nikki Parker, and stops her wedding, like we all didn't see it coming.

They are just an old trailer trash version of Chappele's show, the rest of America enjoys rednecks making fools ofthemselves

Yeah. How else can you explain Dinosaurs, Disney's best TV show ever, got canned very early?
Yes, how I loved that show when I was younger, I think the reason they claimed to have cancelled it was because "The characters were to realistic and couldeasily scare young children out of watching the show.

I wonder how many gay people hated Will & Grace because of the dude's ridiculously overflamboyant nature? Either way, the show with or without the uber-homo was sheer crap.

I don't know what exactly made it so successful, but even with the over-dramatising of Rachel and Ross, Friends was a good show. I never watched it religiously or too often like some, but the episodes I did see were quite tolerable, and sometimes funny as hell.

I loved Seinfeld, News Radio and a fair bit of Drew Carey, before he got into the I'M FROM CLEVELAND EVERYBODY DID YOU KNOW THAT?!??!?!

I'm guessing those are from the ABC episodes of Drew Carey show. TBS airs the earlier episodes, including the favorable April Fools episodes, heh.

Oh, and let me throw out I don't want to argue about Zim and stuff.

Call it a victory or loss. &gt;_&gt;
