I kinda hope it's Sideshow Bob.

Someone is leaving the Simpsons? You mean like one of the characters? When did they say that?

Sideshow Bob rules. It better not be him.

I hope it's one of the many characters they "over-killed" with jokes, such as Disco Stu or Duff Man. Disco Stu and Duff Man were much cooler when they were one-line characters. Now they're just lame.-jay

Yesterday, after the new episode, there was a commercial saying that someone was leaving forever next week.

All I can say is it better not be Lenny, Carl, Moe, Ralph, or Mr. Burns. It better not be one of the early characters. I could do without Disco Stu or Gil (the guy who's a complete failure), but one of the old guys, I just don't think I could do without.

As long as it's not Willie or Smithers, I'm fine.

They overkilled Smither's character as well. It's was much funnier when he was only subtlely gay. Now he's just flaming gay.-jay

I really, really hope they don't ditch Comic Book Guy, Dr. Nick, Nelson and Mr. Burns. Maybe even Willie or Skinner too. Flanders must not go either. That would totally suck.

Maybe they should lose Patti/Selma, but I doubt it.

I found this on Yahoo-

Quote:
Homer dies of a heart attack in an attempt to make the show more serious. "We want it to be like an animated '8 Simple Rules'", says a Fox spokesman.

I would highly doubt that is true. Homer is the life of the show, and Fox knows that. I think Milhouse is dying myself.

If Homer died..... I don't even want to think about it. It won't happen, that's just stupid. People would riot if He did.

Ned himself, maybe? Or perhaps someone from way back who nobody remembered anyway? (Jacque, Marge's old bowling partner?) Maybe Barney, or Moe...nah, not Moe.

Duff Man's died twice already.

Ah...that was good stuff.
Mm. People want too much seriousness. I say kill Marge. She's annoying and whines too much.

This could just be a publicity stunt to get all the Simpsons fans debating. I personally think it'll just be a one-off character.

I hope they kill Homer off, then Dan Castenella can take his talents elsewhere, with hopefully better writers.

Then ratings will drop, and the Simpsons shall finally be euthanised!
