I didn't watch until I heard they did this, Sheila isn't that bad after a while, but in the beginning she was a real bitch. |

But in all seriousness, Big Brother is different from most reality shows because IMO, they're not trying to exploit anything. FOX just makes **** that is controversial to draw audiences, MTV has 50 Real World/Road Rules and 10 Guantletts. The thing I like about Big Brother is it's not just "let's film 16 people in one house" it's EXTREMELY strategic, anything you say or do could wind you up outside and out of a shot of $500K. |

| Junior Member | BB9 is the first season of Big Brother I've ever turned off in disgust. I think it was either when I heard the Boston guy call autistic kids "retards" or when the fat guy walked around calling himself "The Hooded Warrior." The editing on BB has slipped right down the crapper as well. The wrong mics are on at the wrong times and Julie yells at the houseguests on camera now. When she was interviewing the houseguests who could have been voted back into the house, one woman's lips were moving but we were hearing Bos-tard talking from inside the house. A new producer needs to be brought in to make big, big changes to BB, which has become a shadow of its former self. This is coming from someone who sat through the putrid fourth, fifth, and seventh seasons. |

I can't remember anything about 5 other than Marvin, Fourth was bleh. Sixth was the one I couldn't stand though, house full of dumbasses that revealed their true character come season 7 (Howie, Janelle). 8 was badass, I may despise ED's personality, but he kicked everyone's ass. |

| Junior Member | Season 7 was easily one of the worst I ever watched. Chicken George was the only one I rooted for, because Season 1 was the best season. However, the crappiness of that season was obvious, from Allison hiding in the vase, to Erika making the entire house do the HoH competition over because she lost, to that floater Boogie winning. |

He had everybody in the house doing exactly what he wanted. This season is pretty wack though. I dont like anybody in the house, I just watch it cause it's still big brother. |

When the public are rooting for a moron and a hooker, you know something's up. James turned me off with his hypocrisy. He kept going on and on about dishonest people and how morally correct he is, then he did the same thing he accused them of doing. I was hoping to see Alex get back in the house (didn't like any of the other 5 choices). I'm amazed they were dumb enough to not take that route. __________________ Now I know there's a reason you shouldn't blame others when you do something wrong, and that reason is: you might get caught and have to apologize to a bunch of dumb peasants. |

| Not Ready to Make Nice Join Date: Apr 1999 Location: Flaflooga Gender: Posts: 130,739 | Evel Dick was definitely a horrible player. His aggressiveness at getting himself thrown out of the house (and impatience at simply waiting for himself to win veto) clinched that. Will and Danielle are the obvious choices for #1 and #2. From there it's a tough call, but I'd throw out there Alison, Diane, Erika, Jun, Lisa, Jason, and Drew. __________________ Now I know there's a reason you shouldn't blame others when you do something wrong, and that reason is: you might get caught and have to apologize to a bunch of dumb peasants. |
