This week's episode of Law & Order couldn't have come at a better time.

All this talk about Obama's preacher recently started a cold race war, with whites accusing blacks of things and blacks accusing whites of things.

This week's episode of Law & Order really makes you sit back and think about where all this gets us: NOWHERE.

A neighborhood in NYC is becoming gentrified, and a lot of African American residents are forced to leave. One white parent files complaints about black people hanging out on THEIR PROPERTY getting drunk and having parties, which is what always happened in the neighborhood. One black parent thinks this is all because she wants to rid the neighborhood of poor blacks.

A friend of the black parent's son steals a ball from a friend of the white parent's son. The white parent armed her kids with baseball bats and had them go and assault the black parent's son and his friends until they get the ball back. But the friend who took the ball wasn't there. The white parent's sons attacked the black parent's son with baseball bats, and the black kid ran from the white kids. The white kids chased the black kid to his house, and the black parent shot one of the white kids and a young girl who was caught in the crossfire.

Thankfully, both the white parent and the black parent were convicted.

These kind of things really make you wonder how we're going to all solve our problems. Blacks and whites are just as guilty as each other. They're guilty of different things, but they both share the same guilt. Only when we realize this can we have true racial harmony.

I never felt that there was any need for race classification, and I never once saw someone as black or white or whatever, but apparently society doesn't agree. -CSM
