| Lord of Vampires / God of Vengeance | I'm a big fan of George Lopez, hell I even took my mom as a Christmas present to a George Lopez show at the Nokia theater. I payed for her ticket +1 (she took one of her best friends) rented us a limo and took my wife. As a Mexican American I'm glad to see that we have a stand out comic who can give comedic insight to our culture. Much like how Eddie Murphy and to a greater extent Richard Pryor gave us a comidic look into the African American mentality of their time. Of course those of you who are not Latino or have not been exposed to alot of latin influences, your not going to get a large portion of his jokes. But for the most part unless your somebody like George Carlin (R.I.P.) or Jerry Seinfeld who uses obeservational humor your not going to have a wide reaching joke base that covers all types of scenerios or social groups. | Senior Member | ^I beg to differ. I'm not mexican American and I understand pretty much all of George Lopez's jokes. You don't have to be a certain race to understand what they are talking about. |

| Senior Member | He's only funny when he's not trying to be. Most of his jokes start with "Sabes Que, I was like that...", and I just don't find them funny for some reason. |
