These kids on there are pretty talented. I'm guessing it won't do very well, though. And that host Adrianna or whatever is quite good looking. |

I think once the directors are able to make something longer than a minute in whatever genre they please, things will get more interesting. |

The trailer was the film. That was the point. The only one of the 1-minute comedies I hated was Bus #1. It just didn't follow through at all; the only funny thing was that they were on a school bus. I really liked the audition rounds, but the results show tonight was just painfully awkward, poorly-structured & poorly-scripted. And Adrianna may be hot, but dang, she's a bad host! We only needed to hear "Let's reintroduce you to America" once, and even that wasn't necessary. Also, the judges need to watch their mouths; Carrie let slip the judges' favorite in the first round!? And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

I dislike this show for the same reasons I dislike all such reality shows. The annoying part is that everyone and their brother asks me if I'm watching this one. I caught the first episode and never thought of it again. It just makes me miss Project Greenlight. |

That host still needs to go, though. Where'd they find her? __________________ Remember that book store? Well, they became one of those books and coffee places, and now they're just coffee. It's like evolution, only without getting the better part. |

I'm really ticked off that Mateen was booted this time; he was one of the best ones last week. I mean, everybody knew that the rubber lizard killed Kenny, but what the heck was wrong with Mateen's film (besides the cop's ridiculous accent)? And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

I thought he was one of the more promising directors on the show, so I was surprised to see him go. I had also thought that Shalini was promising, but her "When Two Worlds Collide" was a complete mess. The one in the doctor's office was hilarious though. I actually liked Jason's flick this week, too, which is a first for me. I sincerely hated "Get a Room" and the one about the guy whose blood was able to cure AIDS. Will is the only one who has consistently entertained me with each of his films. The real question is whether he'd still be as entertaining of a director throughout a full length film. |

That clearly didn't turn out right. This time, though, I'm saying Jason, Will, & Adam are scot-free. Sam & Andrew are probably toast, the former because no one paid attention to the tag, and the latter because it was the weakest of the night. Also, who the heck checks the copy on this show? Jim Carrey didn't play Lemony Snicket. Was that the writer's fault, or can Adrianna just not read the cue cards? And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

As for the Lemony Snicket thing, it could be either. You'd figure that someone with a background in "journalism" (if you consider that celebrity gossip crap to be journalistic) would know how to read. |
