Basically, they were too short-sighted to see that Jay Leno wouldn't be out of steam by 2009, so they set up his retirement for that year. Then, when 2009 comes around and Leno is still chugging along, NBC decides to obliterate their 10 PM primetime programming every weeknight in order to give Leno a new show. But what's this? Nobody likes Leno's new show? And The Tonight Show isn't doing well under Conan? And nobody's watching Law & Order at 9:00? Okay, in that case, let's do what the comic book companies do whenever they make a huge, regrettable change that no one's happy with; put everything back the way it was and pretend nothing ever happened. |

They're probably the best of the main networks besides maybe CBS. I like how even with stuff like continuing to plug the Jay Leno Show, they've still done some good like pushing to keep great shows like Chuck and 30 Rock, even though those shows have never really gained a huge audience |

Fox has House, Glee, and Bones The CW has Smallville NBC has The Office, 30 Rock, Community, Chuck, Law & Order, Friday Night Lights, and Parks & Recreation (not as funny as their other sitcoms but Aziz Ansari is hilarious). SNL has its moments and they have the second-funniest late-night comic Conan O'Brian. CBS has How I Met Your Mother, CSI, The Mentalist, The Big Bang Theory, NCIS, The New Adventures of Old Christine, as well as the funniest late-night comedian Craig Ferguson |
