Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Gotham Gender: Posts: 12,631 Thanks: 727 Thanked 1,135 Times in 598 Posts | I'm "special" Well, aside from my clinical depression, anxieties, piss-poor social skills (as you all are aware of), low self-esteem, and not much hope for my life, today I find out something new. As it turns out, I'm eligible for special ed. That's right, I'm special! Using terms like that and "mentally disturbed" didn't really get to me, mind you, it's just the fact that I'm no longer normal that really put me down. Hell, I never was normal. But now, everybody gets to know that! I've been put into special classes. Thank you so much! I'm special! |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | A little anecdote: I've heard stories about the gifted program at my school, back during it's inception. Basically, they were kids who were bright but, bored by classes, decided to do all sorts of crazy crap. There were two reasons for making the gifted program: to give gifted kids a leg up, and to keep an eye on them. |

I know I'm bipolar, but from what I've seen, psychiatrists are overpaid and might as well use tarot cards. I've abandoned normality anyway. Everyone knows I'm not 'normal.' It's pretty stupid to care. Basically, the special ed. I've seen strives to get students around doing any of their work and make them look smarter than they actually are. Usually, special ed. kids do better than me in their assignments because they aren't even graded the same way. |
