| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | Um... It's after closing time. I don't get why you're angry with him. |

Gender: Posts: 939 Thanks: 21 Thanked 28 Times in 19 Posts | It wasn't so much that they were closing that ticked me off, it was the whole attitude of the guy, and how he specifically stopped what he was doing just to boot me out of the store. I was only going in to buy a City of Heroes game card, which, after returning today, I find out they didn't even have. The whole process wouldn't have even taken two minutes (assuming they didn't try selling me a preorder, and a magazine, and a membership card, and this that the other thing in the process), but he didn't even bother asking how long it would take. Botheration. |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | Yeah, I can understand how you're mad. But, hey, he probably wants to go home after dealing with 7+ hours of brats who want to buy Death Kill City 3 and vapid parents who ask about the next Nintencube. |

| Cooler than you and you ****ing know it. | I hate GameStop's employees in general. Me: Excuse me, but do you have any copies of X-Men Legends for the Gamecube? Clerk: God, can't you see I'm in a conversation here? This is very important. Wait a few minutes. The conversation had nothing to do with buying, selling, preordering, or trading at all. The important conversation was about Chocobos. |

| Gunjinkeeper | ^Um, dude, not every employee is like that. Plus, considering my geekiness, I always end up in the middle of their Chocobo conversations, leading the damn things. Sure, I'm a hindrance to their business. I don't care. It's better than going to some random Wal-Mart where the employee's either: A) Have no clue what they're selling and only are there to have a conversation with their buddies (Because Wal-Mart is much worse than the EB/Gamestop chain for having chatty employees) or B) Ask you everything about what you're buying, because they've no clue. Hell, I even had a lady call the game I was buying demonic and try to stop me from purchasing it. Anyway, the only problem I actually have with Gamestop is the whole "You wanna buy this magazine? How about preorder GTA 479.9? You like RPG's, huh? Wanna preorder this one? No? How's about a membership card? You already have one? Want another one for good measure?" God. That gets annoying. |

They didn't ask me about preordering anything. Probably because it was 2005 and they'd just watched me buy a GameCube. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

| Gunjinkeeper | ^Yes, that would likely be the reason. The EBs and Gamestops in my area are great at hounding me about preorders. Hell, one of the clerks in a certain Gamestop came up to me while I was holding about ten RPGs in my hands (I ended up buying FF6 Advanced) and asked me if I wanted to buy GTA: Vice City Stories. Out of nowhere. I hadn't even came to the chekout counter yet, and here this oddball is, asking me if I want to purchase a video game from a series I've never really enjoyed. That is how bad it can get in the stix of Mississippi. |

These foul creatures are only sighted when they pop up to harass you about magazine subscriptions or when they leave their dark cavernous nests to feed upon Mc Donalds and Panda Express in the food court. The natural enemy of the Gamestop employee is the Mall-Core-Emo Kid who comes in, stands and stares at racks of games, and systematicly complains about the prices, selection and competancy of the store. The Gamestop Employees natural defenses consist of Gamer-stink, a condition brought upon by a lack of soap, and the glare of death. The glare of death can often be countered by complete utter apathy. Um..to much time working in malls. |
