Only time I ever resented my brother's birthday was when my mother skipped my turn for cake, twice. Man, I was pissed at her.

I am probably one of the most tolerant members of VGF, and your bitchin' about spending one day with your sister, to celebrate her life. Right, sure, you see your sister every weekend, so you should see where we are coming from. Now, I used to hate birthdays with my siblings... Then... Well, lemme ask you this one question:

Have you ever had a sibling die? Two even?

Let me tell you this buddy, it's a f*cking eye-opener. And it hurts like f*ck.

So listen here, CHERISH the time you have with your sister, it might end sooner than you expect.

He's making these rules for your own good, I'm sure he loves you mate. Honest. It's just he is probably getting you ready for the real world, you have not even a clue what it is like, until it slaps you in the face.

Birthdays only come once a year, so it's not like you have to put up with it everyday, but you should still think about it for what it really is.
