| Senior Member | LOL Well, I gotta admit, yesterday was one of the funniest things ever. I got ready for work and I got there about..... 20 mins early. So, I got to eat some pancakes and crap, then the people start coming in. So, I go take peoples orders. Everything is going good until like 10:00am, then this one family walks in, with 2 kids ( Oldest was like 12 , youngest was 5). And, I go to take their orders, and the younger one starts complaining on how he doesn't like pancakes ( damn parents ordered for him ) and in my head, I said to myself "Yeah well suck it up" but I didn't say it lol. Then, he starts complaining cause his brother's chocolate milk has more whipped cream than his. Again, I wanted to say another smartass remark, I was thinking " I know, I did that on purpose" . THEN, the kid starts yelling at me cause I won't put more on his damn milk, THEN he starts rolling on the damn floor crying about it, Everyone is looking at me like I'm satan cause I supposedly made that little bastard cry. So, I get his damn milk and out more on it. Then, I told Jack (one of the workers) that "Damn I better get a bigass tip from those parents for having to put up with that", we start cracking up, and I go get other people's orders. THEN, he starts crying that his food is too hot. His mom tells me "Sorry for my son acting like this" and I was like " Damn, if that was me, I would've gotten my ass kicked by now" LOL.Ok, so finally everything is quiet, UNTIL, him and his brother start arguing over something and the older one knocks the other ones food on the ground, and here come the tears again. I was in the kitchen cleaning dishes, and I thought to myself "Damn I am like 5 seconds from taking a frying pan and shutting that kid up. myself". I was cracking up and everyone was like " The **** is that guys problem?", OMG, I felt like a total moron but I was cracking up like hell. Then, when they leave, all of the workers, start cracking up. Yeah, I look like a damn weakling cause I got bad-mouthed by a 5 year old and I didn't even saying anything bad lol. But the dad tells me the funniest thing on my way out , he says " Le voy a matar ese pendeho" I'm dying in the middle of the store, and everyone is looking at me like I'm a maniac LOL. You may think it was funny, but I thought it was, and thats all that matters ![]() |

And that is awesome - it shows a maturity is definitely developing. Trust me, in situations like that, you handled yourself beautifully. Kids can be frustrating (especially when they aren't yours and you aren't in a position to handle them), but good work! ![]() |
