hay i'll trade magicarp for you palkia.

Ok, this is gonna come from almost no where, but I really do have to tell everyone about what happened.

no, I'm not offering Magikarp for a Palkia, that's later.

Once, while I was playing my DS in bed (I do that alot ), I found that I had some internet access at the time (Sometimes I don't.) So, I got my friend code, then I decided to check out the Global Trading Station.

This is what surprised me.

I decided to look for a Chimchar, expecting somewhat rare pokemon, like the other starter pokemon, or Glameow.

There were some asking for Dialga, Mespirit, and other rare beauties.

WHAT?!

I looked around, and many were asking for Lvl 100s, Super Rare Pokemon, and Lvl 1 Sandslash.

It was so much, I had to do something....for fun of course.

A while ago, I got a spare Magikarp for the Pokepress thing (I thought they were gonna take it).

I discovered that I could have used the original one I had, so in frustration, I threw it in the Day Care, and raised it 20 levels.

I decided to be stupid, and not think of what could happen, by putting up a Lvl 25 Magikarp for an Any Level Palkia.

As the days went by, I thought of a Virus-ridden Palkia killing me and my game cartridge in a Glitched Pokeball.

I even thought no one was gonna trade anyway.

So, I got back to GTS a week later (Which is when I had the chance.) And tried to pull my Magikarp

"Ok....why are you taking so long to lo-.....no way....NO WAY...."

The Trade happened....

And here's the kicker....

IT'S A SHINY PALKIA!

YES! SHINY!

I used it in a Wild Pokemon Battle, and nothing weird happened to my knowledge.

I haven't touched it since.

"Maugrave" is it's name, and because of it, I now have Palkia and Dialga.

I don't know why someone would do this. But, I'll put up the Palkia's stats later.

Seriously....am I being tricked?!

That once happened to me, but I gave up something a little better than a Magikarp.

People don't care, a lot of people hacked the game and give them out to whoever asks. =\ Sorry, but I can say without a doubt you got a hacked one, the chances of catching one are so incredibly slim, and then the chances someone gave it up make it even more so...

I'm not worrying, unless it's gonna break my game.

It's not going to break your game.

I highly doubt it could do so.

Yeah, it sounds like you got a hacked on. Where does it say it was met on the profile?

People create hacked mons to look realistic sometimes, though usually their stats and Nature are perfect, and that's the only way you can tell. Does it matter, though? I mean, really. PALKIA

Even then Tazy, they can make any Pokemon they encounter Shiny using AR or something, sorry to burst your bubble. The chances of running into a Shiny Palkia are so slim that I just can't believe it.

I really don't care that it's hacked.

Unless it's gonna break my game, I'm fine with this Hacked Palkia.

99% of the ones that have the potential to do bad things to your game can't even get put on the GTS because it will be a "bad egg" that can't go anywhere.

As long as the stats and moves it has are within the possibilities of what the game allows, then hey, it beats the time needed to do raise it that way yourself.

The GTS is FLOODED with requests for lvl 100 palkias and dialgas. It's hard to find legit pokemon. It is the only way I could get Spiritomb, however, as I didn't want to go through visiting 20 people's secret hideouts.
