| Senior Member | Just some venting. I have a dream. It is a dream where my father has a different job. One that doesn't require my family to move every few years. I must wonder, though...how would I be in this dream of mine? Would I be here now? Would I be a jerk? Would I have real-life friends? Would I be exactly the same? What would I be like? I'll never know. All I know is that my dream is a reset. Eh, needed to get that off my chest. :\ Sorry for the emo-ness, it's been floating around my head for awhile. |

I'm sorry it's hard for you, and I'm sure you'd be a nice person even if you weren't moving around No reason you'd turn out to be a jerk just because you live in the same area, you know? |

I don't have to shovel, people aren't a-holes in this state at much as they were in my homestate (especially my school!), and I kind of enjoy the country side at times instead of the city. On the other hand, we left some of my family and my best friends up there that I only get to see about once a year. I do miss those friends quite a bit, because I can't seem to connect well with anyone in college aside from talking to them in work or classes. I'm sure it's difficult trying to constantly get accustomed to new environments and people all the time. I wish you luck feeling better. Even if you don't see it now, I think you will look back in your life someday and will actually appreciate the adventures you had moving around so often. |

When I moved from NYC to Jersey I was so pissed. I'm so sorry. -CSM |

| Senior Member | Thanks for your comments, guys. They made me feel better. We're moving back to Canada, and that's it. We're staying there, unless my dad is unable to get another position at his job. I just wish we had stayed in Canada in the first damn place... Canada(Ottawa)->Yugoslavia->Canada(Ottawa)->Costa Rica->MD Ugh. Doesn't seem like so much, but... |

| Senior Member | Lived in the same City/State all my life. Hell, the only time I have moved is when I got kicked out of my house. |

| Hello, VGF. I want to play a game... | I've lived in ****ing Mississippi all my life, practically. My Dad's job required a lot of moving up until I turned 4, at which point he died. Had he lived, God knows where we'd be. But I know for sure I'd prefer it to this place. |

| Senior Member | That reminds me of a topic, long ago... http://www.vgf.com/forums/neglected-...k-absence.html Anyway, I'm doubt we live in the same area, and if we did, Jay would probably be too busy to talk with some random kid. So, we went to this Hockey game Saturday. Somehow, my dad got good suite seats or something from some guy. Of course, there was a bunch of people on the streets, and in the restaurant we went to before we went to the game, so...I started to feel really bad. Damn it, I thought those pills were supposed to help my damned anxiety. In the end, I really didn't watch the game all that much, but I instead played some Oracle of Ages. That Mermaid Dungeon sucks. Oh, and Toronto won, which was good, I guess. It was somewhat close. EDIT-Also, the kids in my classes are rude. I'm taking a damn oral Spanish quiz, one only I supposedly studied for before class began, so shut your damn traps. Though, that 100% on that quiz made me feel a bit good, I guess. |
